Its position on this notoriously storm-battered coastline means it rarely goes flat for long, but also that conditions can turn heavy and disorganised without much warning. The scenery, wide dunes, distant cliffs and near-total absence of development, is as much a draw as the surf itself.

Its small scale means it rarely holds a crowd, and the surrounding cliffs and fishing-village character add real charm to what is otherwise a serious, wild stretch of Atlantic Spain. It rewards local knowledge of the tide and swell direction that suits this particular setup best.
